These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you and Ranthia (“Ranthia,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of the Ranthia mobile application, this website, and any related services (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Who can use Ranthia
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using Ranthia, you represent that you meet this requirement.
What Ranthia is
Ranthia is an AI vitality and styling assistant. You upload a photograph; we return a long-term elevated look and a day-of quick-win look you can replicate in about ten minutes. Ranthia does not perform de-aging, surgical-looking edits, or bone-structure changes. The Service is a creative tool, not medical, dermatological, or cosmetic-procedure advice.
Your account
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Ranthia is offered on a paid subscription basis. When you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, your purchase is handled by Apple or Google under their own terms, and subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your store account. Subscription management, including cancellation and refund requests, is handled through the platform where you subscribed. We use RevenueCat as our subscription infrastructure provider; additional terms surfaced at checkout will apply.
Your photos and your generated images
You retain ownership of the photos you upload and the generated images Ranthia produces from them. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and process your photos solely as needed to operate and improve the Service. We will not sell your photos, license them to third parties for marketing, or use them to train external models.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their informed consent;
- use the Service to create content that is sexual, harassing, defamatory, or unlawful;
- attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features or generation guardrails;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
Our intellectual property
The Service — including the Ranthia name, logo, interface, copy, and software — is owned by Ranthia and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party platforms and providers, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Supabase, and AI model providers. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; certain provisions (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive termination.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Generated images are creative interpretations, not predictions or medical assessments.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ranthia and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
